Rutted gravel roads that reduce speed to about 40kph. Camping Los Nogales de Vilches was located about 25km along the gravel towards the Parqu Nacional Altos de Lircay. Apart from a school group, the campground was vacant and had lots of space so we could find a quiet corner of our own. The pool looked quite inviting but we enjoyed some quiet time enjoying the very serene surroundings.\r\n<h2>The good<\/h2>\r\nFacilities were well done with new toilets and hot showers. The space was massive set in amongst old walnut trees. With the sun filtering through the trees it was very picturesque and while the site wasn't powered we could run our cable from the nearby toilet block power points\r\n<h2>The bad<\/h2>\r\nThe toilets were a fair way from the campsites and walking along a dry dusty path after a shower meant you got dirty on the return journey.\r\n<h2>The awesome<\/h2>\r\nThe setting in the middle of the walnut trees was unforgettable and it was so quiet that we slept in long past when we should have woken up.
