However, consider staying at Camping Las Bandurrias should you find yourself caught short and need a place to stay. Located a short 20 minute drive out of Puerto Montt in the town of La Chamiza.\r\n\r\nThe few well appointed sites have shelter, running water table and chairs and a fireplace. The showers are hot and there is a large entertaining area where Chilean families often gather.\r\n<h2>The good<\/h2>\r\nFacilities were quite good and the small family run campsite gave it a homely feel. Being slightly away from Puerto Montt it felt extremely safe.
