The wide and open beach is within the National Park and overlooks the wildlife rich Isla Pan de Azúcar, home to penguins, seals and diving petrels with whales occasionally visiting.

The campsites are well equipped with a decent shelter built for each campsite and a built in stone BBQ protected from the prevailing sea breeze with a wall. The water is crisp but refreshing, although mind the jellyfish!

The good

The campsites are well spaced apart, they are right on the beach with perfect views of the offshore island. A very relaxing place to spend a few days.

The bad

The toilet and showers nearest us were under construction so it was a fair walk to the main bathroom facilities. They also ran out of water, but given al water is brought in to the camp on a truck, it is understandable.

The awesome

The sun setting over Isla Pan de Azúcar is nothing short of spectacular especially when viewed from a swinging hammock beneath the shady shelter
