The run was very pleasant following the trail along the winding Wingecarribee River, including part of the course from the well patronised <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkrun.com.au\/bowral\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bowral Parkrun<\/a>. With Autumn in full swing, a strong headwind made going tough in parts but the autumnal leaves were a healthy distraction the entire way into Moss Vale.\r\n<h3>Running Stats:<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Distance: 8.2km<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Pie Time: 40 mins<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Pie Charts:<\/h3>\r\nUnfortunately, the award-winning 'Bernie' pie from last year was no longer available. However, with Southern Rise Bakery having two outlets in town (located back to back) three pies were eventually sampled. We had 2 from the tradesmen entrance out back and one from the more spacious main street cafe dine-in entrance. We look forward to visiting the 3rd Southern Rise Bakery in Robertson\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong>Pies:<\/strong> Meat; Satay Chicken; Bacon &amp; Cheese<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Pastry:<\/strong>\u00a0The meat pie may have spent a little long in the oven, as the pastry was a little hard. The bacon &amp; cheese from the front though had a better, softer pastry.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Filling:<\/strong> Bacon &amp; Cheese was the clear winner.
