It has quite a gourmet and seasonal menu with all food made fresh on-site. Despite not having pies on the menu year-round, there are still plenty of satisfying options on the menu to choose from and you can be guaranteed a pie during the month of June for Pie Time.\r\n\r\nThere is a hive of activity inside the cafe at its many tables. It seems to be where local business goers 'do lunch' and there is a small outdoor area to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine should the weather permit.\r\n<h3>Running Stats:<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Distance: 7km<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Pie Running Time: 35 minutes<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Pie Charts:<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong>Pies:<\/strong>\u00a0Pork with Beef Cheek, served on mash with a salad and free mocktail.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Pastry:<\/strong>\u00a0OK. It was a filo style pastry which worked well with this pie. Compared with the recent butter based pastry we'd experienced it was a little lacking.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Filling:<\/strong>\u00a0This was a very well constructed pie with complimentary flavours.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong>\u00a0$28. Included a mocktail which was quite refreshing. Like a mojito minus the rum!\u00a0Compared with other dine-in pies we'd tried this was priced quite high.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Sauce tax:<\/strong>\u00a0None, sauce as included.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<div class=\"bg-sling-ref white-text margin-five-bottom\">\r\n<h2 class=\"section-title white-text\">Southern Highlands Pie Trail Run<\/h2>\r\n<p class=\"text-medium padding-two-top no-margin-bottom\"><a href=\"https:\/\/slingadventures.com\/destinations\/australia\/the-great-southern-highlands-pie-trail-run\">The Southern 'Pielands' Trail Run<\/a>\u00a0went for the month of June.
